1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I have dedicated my career to advancing liberty. I'm a nationally known conservative columnist, public policy analyst, and government watchdog. As one of America's leading taxpayer advocates, I've identified and exposed wasteful government spending and have worked with lawmakers to save taxpayers more than $60 billion in his career.

At 23, while living in his car, I founded one of America’s most effective free market think tanks. Under my leadership, the organization reduced taxes, massively expanded parental choice, and slashed regulations on small businesses. In 2007, I famously exposed Al Gore's hypocritical home energy consumption was more than 20 times the national average.

I've worked at the American Enterprise Institute, the National Taxpayers Union, the Taxpayers Protection Alliance, and The Washington Times, and authored research studies for the Heritage Foundation, the Nevada Policy Research Institute, and Citizens Against Government Waste. I'm a regular contributor to Fox News, Newsmax, and The Daily Caller. Additionally, I've visited nearly 70 countries to help pro-freedom think tanks and human rights organizations fight oppressive governments' attacks on free speech and civil rights.

In 2022, while running for the Clark County Commission, I was one of the best-performing Republicans in the state, winning a Democrat-heavy district by 2,900 votes and becoming the first Republican member of the County Commission in a generation, before losing by 336 votes a week after Election Day.

My goal is to be the most effective advocate for liberty possible. In my career, I've accomplished that through my work with conservative media outlets and free market think tanks. But I have a unique opportunity to bring my policy expertise to Congress with flipping one of the most competitive House seats in America and helping to hold the Republican majority,

2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone?

1) Immigration/Border Security: It is crucial that we secure our southern border to stop the flow of violent cartels, human traffickers, and deadly Fentanyl into our communities while making it easier to welcome immigrants willing to come into the country legally to live their American Dream. A third of NV-03 residents are first and second-generation legal immigrants. Failed politicians like Joe Biden and Susie Lee have disrespected these immigrants who followed the law by allowing criminals to cut line. I support deporting illegal immigrants by increasing cooperation between federal immigration enforcement agencies and local law enforcement to identify and apprehend illegal immigrants, particularly those who commit crimes.

2) Inflation/Debt: As one of America’s leading government watchdogs, I’ve spent my career identifying wasteful spending and working with members of Congress to save taxpayers more than $60 billion. That experience makes me better prepared than anyone in Southern Nevada to tackle our inflation crisis – and our spending addiction. We must reform entitlements and slash excessive spending on discretionary expenditures like foreign aid and pork projects. Reducing these expenses will cut our interest payments – the fastest-rising portion of our federal spending. Additionally, Susie Lee’s failed green energy policies have artificially curbed the supply of oil and natural gas, increasing the price of almost everything Nevadans buy. I will vote to cut red tape that discourages domestic energy production and streamline regulations to encourage the construction of much-needed modern refineries. Finally, I would fight to end senseless trade wars that have significantly increased the cost of many imported goods.

3) Protecting Women/Restoring Title IX: I was the first federal candidate in America endorsed by women's rights activist Riley Gaines because of my commitment to sponsoring legislation to restore Title IX and protect descrimination based on sex, rather than gender identity. The Biden administration's recent ruling allowing men to take scholarship, grants, and other opporunities, and permitting biological males to invade girls' locker rooms, dorms, and other safe spaces in unacceptable and must be overturned. My opponent, Susie Lee, proudly voted to allow biological males to compete against girls and women. She believes men should be allowed in girls’ locker rooms and encouraged to take awards and scholarships from deserving female athletes, all while putting the safety of girls and women at risk. my campaign is managed by Linnea Saltz, a conference champion NCAA runner who became a leading advocate for the rights of women and girls to compete in sports fairly and safely after facing the prospect of racing against a biological male athlete. Gaines recently recognized Saltz as a pioneer in the fight to protect women’s sports.
