1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected? | Washington, D.C. has become a mess, filled with partisan gridlock and out-of-touch politicians who seem more focused on personal agendas than on the real issues facing Americans. The needs of everyday people are often overshadowed by political infighting, and common-sense solutions are lost in the swamp of bureaucracy. It’s time for leaders who are committed to cutting through the noise, bringing practical ideas to the table, and finding real solutions that put the people of the United States first. We deserve better than the dysfunction we see today. |
2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone? | Securing our southern border, reining in government spending, and restoring election integrity are crucial to preserving the future of our country. By completing the wall on our southern border, we can protect our nation’s security while also tightening control over government spending, which has spiraled out of control and led to a staggering $34 trillion debt. This debt is a serious threat to the well-being of our children and grandchildren. Additionally, Darrell Day is committed to solving election integrity by requiring Voter ID and using paper ballots to ensure every vote is valid and trusted. |
