1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I am running for office after feeling called to do so by God. I have served my country as a soldier in the US Army, as a civil servant with the US Navy and Marine Corps and as an FBI Whistleblower 5 years ago, when I properly disclosed corruption and obstruction of Justice in the FBI to both the House and Senate Intel Committees. That sense of duty and service to God and Country has always been in my heart, but it is clear that we need leaders with integrity, and courage to stand up against both tyranny and corruption and to support our Constitutional rights which include the rights of our parents. That’s why before even getting elected, I authored the Parents Bill of Rights and submitted it to the WV state legislature. I then with the help of my volunteers lobbied the state legislature to get it sponsored in both the House and Senate. It will be introduced in the next session starting in January of 2024. This is a critical piece of legislation intended to protect our most valuable resource, our children, and our parental rights from the encroachment and perversion of groups like the NEA and the Dept of Education. I hope to not only get this bill passed by the State legislature but to introduce and rally support of the members of Congress to do the same at the Federal level. The most important force to bring about positive change into our communities are the parents and grandparents and legal guardians who are highly motivated to advocate for them. I want to be their champion on this issue. I also want to inspire the churches and civic-minded groups to engage in supporting the traditional nuclear family as the ideal support model for the success of our children into their future adulthood. The Parents Bill of Rights I submitted can be found at my website at NateCain4WV.com.

2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone?

1. America’s Freedom must be restored. The Tyrrany of government has encroached on the rights of the people to include the rights of parents to protect their kids, our free speech rights, our right to bear arms, our right of assembly, our right to practice our religion and our right to be free from illegal search and seizure, our right to due process (including in regards to Child Protective Services), and our right to private property (including mineral rights).
All of these fundamental rights are what every member of Congress swears to uphold and defend.
2. American Security must be restored. America must return to law and order and secure its borders against the massive influx of human trafficking and fentanyl which is killing 200 Americans a day (73,000/year). This is a war against the American people, perpetrated by the drug cartels with the aid of China who supplies the precursor chemicals for fentanyl and the aid of the Biden Administration who is derelict of duty in protecting American families against this scourge. Our nation’s critical infrastructure is dangerously susceptible to cyber attack which can result in the loss of critical services and industries . As a cyber security expert for 26 years, I am highly knowledgeable on that subject and would push to modernize our cyber defenses. Our military has become weakened with lax training standards and has created an environment of woke indoctrination that exalts Diversity Equity and Inclusion(DEI), and disdains the building of warriors who are part of a cohesive military unit. The military is not the place for social experiments; it is our last line of defense.
3. America’s prosperity must be restored. The Federal Government must adhere to a balanced budget. It must also reduce its spending. Therefore I would introduce legislation to cut spending via line item in every federal agency. Some agencies I would opt to completely dissolve, such as the Department of Education. I would push to remove the obstacles for small businesses and the entrepreneurs investing in them. I would utilize the anti-trust laws to go after corporate cornyism and I would fight to end all federal subsidies to corporations that push unAmerican socialistic ideals such as Environmental Social Governance(ESG). I would fight against all policies pushing the climate change pseudo-science agenda which has been the single greatest destructive force to the economy of West Virginia.

I believe in our polarized political landscape of today. We have to work to promote conservatives in getting elected. We cannot merely find middle ground. There is no middle ground between a capitalist and a communist. I would be an example to the other members of Congress and their constituents by instituting transparency of my office (for example, all meetings with lobbyists will be recorded and made public immediately. My priority will be to the people I represent, not to the special interests who fund many politicians campaign.). I will focus on building support for my ideas amongst the people of the United States, not just those in my district and wield the pressure of the populace in order to get things done.
