1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected? | My philosophy of government is Liberty, Security and Limited Government. I served in the Alabama House of Representatives in The Alabama Senate. When I was in the senate I pledged to only serve two terms if elected, and so at the end of two terms I thought I was done with politics. But the state of our country is in such disarray I am worried that if I don't do something, we won't have a country for them to inherit. 2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone? | Liberty, Security and Limited Government. During my time in the state house and senate, and working for Gov. Fob James as education liaison I was known as the type of legislator who can work with people to find solutions, and I intend to do that in Congress - as long as it promotes our freedom, helps our security and tries to get government out of the way. |
