1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

The reason I am running is because….I love the United States of America! My life has been the epitome of the American Dream. I grew up in a small coal mining town near Pittsburgh, PA, to a loving mother that was a housewife and a dad that was in the Artillery in the US Army, and then became a union pipefitter. When Dad got laid off during the steel collapse of 1980, it was extremely hard on us financially. I got married, didn’t go to college, and instead began working my way up, first as a waitress until today, and for the past 30+ years, I am a C-Level executive and prominent business leader. All because of our unique government and the rights bestowed upon us by the Constitution. I live in this incredible country, where anything is possible. I see the American Dream fading under this current administration, and my true determination and grit are needed in Congress.

The United States is in a sharp decline….morally, economically and with our local and national security. Working men and women in our 11th District of Illinois have been forgotten and many cannot make ends meet. America itself is under attack from within. Suburban neighborhoods are becoming unsafe. Taxes are on the rise. Inflation continues to skyrocket. Our Southern border is wide open to criminals and toxic drugs. And our national debt is racking up - a whopping $43 Trillion - for the first time ever, with no plan to pay it back.

All of this happened to us in the last 3 years….voting has consequences – it can destroy our calm, peaceful, and affordable lives.

As Americans, we only have one choice – to put our differences aside, and be part of the solution to be on the path to a Better America – and to put Americans first! I have a guarantee on a plan to S.U.C.C.E.E.D. in the 11th District of Illinois! And in all of America available on my website.

2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone?

1) The Border - The migrant crisis has caused a financial and resource strain on the entire country, and especially in Illinois. The only help for the 11th district can come from a Federal level, due to our status as a "sanctuary state". We are not shielded against this crisis in the 11th District, as it is not just the city of Chicago that must deal with the mass population moving in, it is all of Illinois thanks to the “Trust Act” which allows migrants right of passage without getting deported (there is a Republican repeal in the state house). This crisis will eventually bankrupt our state, and potentially the entire U.S. In the short term, drugs are coming into Illinois at a rapid pace. Crime is rising. And Illinois can’t flip the bill for migrants when we are pending pension collapse with pension programs, which will hurt every citizen of Illinois. So what will happen? Market instability – just like 2008 or worse. We may need a constitutional amendment to save us if that happens, because no other state will jump in to help us – who would want that type of debt? I will work with my partners in Illinois government to clean everything up once I am in office in any way I can. I will concentrate on closing the Southern border, securing the Northern border, reforming shipping and our security over cargo ships carrying fentanyl and other terrible drugs, enforce our immigration laws, put back the 1,000 or so border restrictions such as remain in Mexico that were completely wiped out in this administration, send back criminals, terrorists, and cartel members in a mass deportation effort. And make sure that when people immigrate to our great country, they are the right people coming here, for the right reason, and assimilate into our government style instead of the reverse.

2) Economy - We need to fix our failed economy through energy independence, increased U.S. manufacturing, solving supply chain breaks, a sharp decrease in regulation, and a reduced tax base. I speak to District 11 business leaders quite often, and they feel strongly that we can do more to aid this issue federally by creating jobs and producing more on U.S. soil. We must permanently fix the supply chain issue, by correcting bureaucracy at critical points, by innovating key processes, through the digitalization of supply chain functions, and in applying strong supply chain management principles. We also need to tighten up many unnecessary, inconsequential (or unsuccessful) federal spending programs to ease the problems with inflation and maintain good general fiscal accountability. We need to stop incentivizing Americans to stay at home by providing government hand-outs. And we shouldn't escalate federal spending by programs like student loan forgiveness, non-citizen entitlement programs (like free medical for migrants), and Green Energy initiatives (disguised as "inflation reduction" programs). In reference to our wide-open border, this issue not only adds to our inflation, it also causes a security issue for each American family. Runaway inflation is caused by runaway spending, which turns into deep recession (even though the Biden administration is doing a nice job propping up the economy in an election year). We certainly cannot turn a blind eye to this issue, as we may be the next Venezuela. I will use my 30+ years in Corporate America to right the ship of U.S. inflation.

3) Schools - our education system is failing even though our district pays more school taxes than almost anyone in the country. Test scores on SATs have plummeted - approx. 10 points on math and 5 points on Language Arts - since 2019. Social issues are focused on vs. academics. I believe in School Choice. I also believe in Parental Notification on all issues involving children under 18.
