1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected? | As an independent black conservative, I support #AmericaFirst, our U. S. Constitution, and the rule of law. Our nation is divided and in peril, as the immoral and amoral American Bolsheviks continue to gain political ground based on lies, deceit, and ruinous policies. I support individual liberty, free market enterprise, limited government, and a strong national defense against foreign and domestic threats. I support secure borders, which will benefit the citizens of my sanctuary state. I signed the ATR.org pledge: I pledge not to raise taxes. We must cut federal expenses, which includes the reduction and/or the elimination of federal departments, such as Education and the CFPB. I intend to caucus with the Republicans. If I was a Republican, I would apply to be a member of the Freedom Caucus. |
2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone? | Rhode Island, the smallest state in the union, forty by fifty miles, 1,545 square miles, is arguably the worst governed state in the union using a host of state ranking surveys as an observational guide. 1) I support cooperative housing in which tenants do not own their dwelling unit, but own shares of the corporation, which gives low-to-moderate working Americans "skin in the game." Like many states, RI has a housing shortage, but blue state politicians support public and private rental properties which increase the wealth of the owners and keep tenants slaves to rental payments. 2) I support school choice. As a K-12 graduate of Providence Public Schools (Classical HS, 1973), I am concerned with the measurable failure of our urban school system and the failed four-year state takeover. School choice is not the panacea many propose though, if students transfer from one leftist school to another. 3) Rhode Island is ranked one of the lowest states for infrastructure. I will work and partner with state and local governments to help do my part on the federal level. 4) Rhode Island has so many problems such as being one of the worst states to do business, I have many more choices and responsibilities than three choices. I am a state leader and I will not hide behind a federal level. I may help fight to remove a Marxist off a school board. |
