1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I was born in Brazil to a traditional Christian family. When I was about 30 years old, Brazil took a turn towards corruption and leftism. I left Brazil to seek a better life for myself and my three daughters in America. I went through the legal process to become a United States citizen and have now lived in America for over 30 years with my family.

I started a successful business and I met my husband, Bob, who is a retired law enforcement officer. We now have six wonderful grandchildren– three granddaughters and three grandsons.

I have lived the American dream! But, I no longer recognize the America I fell in love with over 30 years ago.

When my daughter was fifteen years old, she became pregnant. Despite pressure from certain individuals in her high school to abort the baby, she chose life! That baby boy, my first American-born grandson, is now serving as a United States Marine!

One day, my grandson came to me and said, ‘Grandma, I’m going to be a marine,'” and that flipped my heart.

My grandson was willing to sacrifice his future for his country. But what was his country doing for his future?

This question set me on a path to engage in local and national politics.

I want my America back. The America I fell in love with 30 years ago was safe, had family values, and people respected one another.

I want to restore the America I love for my grandchildren – and yours.

My unique background will enable me to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people in my district and across the country.

2. Can you share the three most important issues facing your district/state, and how do you envision working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone?

The American dream is slipping away. I am deeply committed to revitalizing our American dream for future generations by championing policies that foster economic freedom and opportunity. This entails advocating for lower taxes, reduced regulations, and investments in our workforce. As a resident of New Jersey, I recognize the burdens imposed by high taxes and strive to alleviate them to prevent the exodus of our youth seeking a better life elsewhere. Having benefited from the opportunities afforded by this nation, I am dedicated to fighting against tax hikes and supporting measures that alleviate financial strains on New Jersey families.

We have a crisis on our southern border which is affecting the state of New Jersey. The current Administration has allowed over 12 million illegal immigrants to trample over our border jeopardizing our national security and disregarding all of the immigrants who sacrificed greatly to come to this country legally. In Congress, I will fight to secure our southern border (starting with the completion of the wall) and ensure that our laws are being followed.

I staunchly believe in the sanctity of parental rights and the role of families in shaping the lives of our children. Parents, not the government, should have the authority to make decisions regarding their children's upbringing, including education and health. I will tirelessly advocate for parental rights and oppose governmental overreach, ensuring that families retain their autonomy in guiding their children's moral and educational development.

Finally, I am deeply invested in supporting our military community, particularly the large joint military base in my district, which is a significant provider of jobs in the state. As the grandmother of a Marine, I take personally the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform and will ensure that their missions continue to be supported. From securing our borders and reforming immigration policies to revitalizing our education system by supporting school choice and supporting our law enforcement, I am committed to implementing solutions that safeguard our communities, empower families, and uphold the values that define the American dream.
