1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

The expidited closure of the coal industry with no transitory jobs in place. I hope to do everything in my power to advocate for the people in my district and stop the war against rural colorado values.

2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state?

1.Energy transition, in a time when we need to be ramping up production due to global demand increases, especialy as people suffer under crippling inflation already and won't be able to afford the increased energy costs.
2. Immigration, we must stop incentivising illegals to come to colorado, the colorado taxpayer cannot afford to help everyone right now when we can't even take care of ourselves. I would also like to see the messaging from the left that mirrors the slave owners when they say that we need the low wage labor of illegal migrants it's an evil mindset that needs to stop.
3. Protecting constitutional rights, many extreme left pilotitions in colorado have made clear they do not care about the first and second amendment rights of their constituents. I hear regularly about how they want to limit our ability to speak online or enact bad policy like adding extra taxes to ammunition that makes it difficult for people to remain proficient and well trained to protect themselves and their families. When I was in the military, I took an oath to defend the constitution from enemies, foreign and domestic, and I do believe that our constitution is under assault by radical extremists who abuse their power to restrict and limit the rights they are supposed to be defending we must get back to working for the people not against them.
