1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I am a pastor, a father, and a patriot. I was compelled to run for office because of the evil we are seeing at unprecedented levels and I can't imagine what kind of future my children will have if we don't have principled leaders rise up and run for office. Three years ago, my co-host and I started the podcast, Carolina Conservatives to combat the inappropriate and pornographic books in the public education system of NC. We read and put the words on the screen of the video, which has gotten us banned from YouTube and shadow banned every where else. Parents need to be awakened, shaken up to know what ideologies are coming at their children on a daily basis to rob their minds and souls of their innocence. We have had some success in seeing some books removed, but it is minuscule compared to what must be done. I know God called me to enter the public arena to stand for righteousness, our children, and raise the standard of common sense. The role of Lt. Governor is crucial because he serves as president of the NC Senate where the influence will allow me to craft principled legislation that will protect our next generation. He also sits on the State Board of Education which is very influential in setting the tone for education and allowing much of what we are fighting to remove. We must have a change there and I relish at the opportunity to sit on the Board to fight the leftist/Marxist agenda which is penetrating our schools. The Lt Governor also sits on the State Board of Community Colleges. This has become another hotbed for DEI and CRT, which needs to be eradicated from our State. As a former welder, I want to see the trades expanded, adhering to the needs of the region in training specialists that areas need most. In summation, we have to have a bold voice to follow the bold voice we currently have (Mark Robinson), and be his support system when he is governor. We have been friends for over three years and I fully support him. In addition, people have taken notice of our bold stand on principles and our American values; Riley Gaines, Eric Metaxas, Jenna Ellis are among a few who have nationally endorsed us as well as local and state officials.

2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state?

The top three critical issues facing our State can be summed up in three terms: Faith, Family, Freedom.
Faith - We must not be willing to give in on our principles, convictions and our Faith when attacked by the Left. It's very easy and lazy to conform and comply, but for the sake of our children, we must stand up and strong in our God-given rights and principles--Never wavering. The ideologies we have in our higher education is not only attacking our Constitution, but every absolute truth we have known. The only way to fight back is to fight back. I am the only candidate that is bold and principled enough to state what I believe and why. All others have taken the Fetterman approach of campaigning and giving Kamala Harris word salads.

Family - In this State, I am the only candidate in my race that went to Raleigh and pushed for a strong parental rights bill--my certainty in this statement as me being the only one has been confirmed by several members of the legislature. We have been the strongest candidate on fighting for women's sports and the only candidate to go to Raleigh to push for that legislation, so much that our very own Payton McNabb and Riley Gaines has fully endorsed my campaign because in their words, "Allen is the only person that shows up!" We have called for our Department of Public Instruction to leave the American Library Association that is run by a Marxist and is pushing most of the garbage we are seeing and fighting against in our public school libraries.

Freedom - Energy independence, medical freedom, parental freedom. We don't co-parent with anyone and we do not march to the beat of the State or Federal government. The economy is a factor in this State and being a former business owner, I can say that if government has minimal say, entrepreneurs have maximal return of investment. Why are we talking about freedom of parents? They have freedom granted them by God and the Constitution.

The critical issues facing our State are that--the Left's attack on our faith, family and freedoms. It is my duty as Lt. Governor to use the pulpit that it is to stand in the gap and for our families and truth.
