1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I was raised in a single mother household on welfare, losing my father to opioids and my cousin a year later to heroin. I co-founded a charity called Ink4Kidz in high school and raised dozens of thousands of dollars for underprivileged schools and universities in the Phoenix area. A product of school choice, I got a scholarship to a school that fit my learning style and values after performing poorly in the public school system. I was separated from my family during the COVID era and built my small business from scratch on a small $200 laptop from university. I got heavily involved in 2021 because I didn't want my future children to have to have a worse upbringing than I did. They deserve a better future - not worse. I'm a 4th generation Phoenician and would love for my grandchildren to also call this place home. That only will happen if we fight to conserve the values that have made Arizona great while also moving us into the future. A "Ron Paul Republican," I hope to bring about liberty-driven reform to Arizona while repealing old, outdated laws and acting as a check on the Katie Hobbs agenda. I am running in a swing district which will determine the control of the AZ State House and am proud to be running on a slate with Senator Shawnna Bolick and Representative Justin Wilmeth.

2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state?

The three issues I have identified as most critical for my district based on my conversations at the doors are as follows:

1. Education
2. Cost of Living
3. Water

The border, crime, and homelessness are also regular fixtures of my conversations at the doors. When it comes to the top three issues, I am a defender of Arizona's ESA program and look forward to working with others on reforming the system for long-term viability so that no family, regardless of zip code or income, is prevented from having excellent choices in their education. Additionally, I am friends with Representative Matt Gress and support his attempts to circumvent the school boards to directly increase teacher pay in Arizona. We must get bureaucrats out of education and ensure that parents voices are heard. Additionally, I believe we should audit the public education system in Arizona and look into cancelling many of our bloated textbook contracts. With cost of living, we must do what we can to prevent foreign investors or multi-billion dollar corporations from driving up housing costs by purchasing single-family homes and turning them into rentals. We must introduce zoning reform that incentivizes more starter homes to be built and introduce preferred price policies wherever possible - especially in pharmaceuticals. Arizonans should not be forced to subsidize multinational corporations product discounts abroad. When it comes to water, I am proud to be working with Representative Kolodin and Senator Wadsack on a number of long-term water plans. I am in favor of creating a statewide water market, passing resolutions to demand Congress invest into desalination, and working on megaprojects that could pipe water into the Southwest from the Mississippi basin.
