| 1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected? | My small hometown of Blanding, Utah was raided by more than 300 federal agents in June, 2009. The raids were conducted under a guise put forward by environmentalist groups. As a CPA I am concerned about process and system weakness. I saw a weakness in County Government and wanted to see if we could improve it as a way to protect innocent people from government gone wild. |

Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state? | Federalism - State legislators should be not only vigilant but jealous and suspicious guardians of the right of the people against federal encroachment. The administrative state is out of control. Government is the biggest threat facing honest citizens. The government has been weaponized. Those in a position to correct it, to often do nothing. Federalism is foundational to a republican form of government. |
