1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I’ve spent the last 8 years working on policy issues at the Capitol then I started watching the politicians tell their constituents how conservative they are then go back to Austin and vote like a liberal. I started keeping people in the district informed on what votes were coming up so they could give their legislators input. Eventually people in my district asked me to run and in obedience to the Lord I am doing it.

2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state?

My top issue is Border Security and in Article 4 of our Texas Constitution we are given the right to REPEL the illegals at the border and never let them gain entry into this country. Our Governor needs a Texas House that will stand behind him. He already has the Senate.
The next priority has to be Parental Empowerment. Children are a gift from the Lord and the government must recognize our right to direct every decision that is made concerning them without any interference from anyone. No one knows what is best for the child than the parents. Generally the more choices we can provide them the better off everyone will be. I believe we have to put a real focus on fixing our public schools because in most models that is where a majority of students will be. We must not let the woke left dictate the curriculum of DEI, CRT and transgenderism. We must return to teaching the common sense basics of reading, writing and arithmetic. That is the remedy to test scores where the majority of kids across the state at all grade levels are below grade level in.both reading and math. We did this for decades. We know how to do it.
I think after a Texan has paid for their house for 30 years they should be able to own it not loose it if they can’t afford to pay the taxes. We need to get appraisal rates under control so that can happen.
