1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I’ve been an independent alderman for 7 years. I am a mother of two children. I began homeschooling them during the pandemic after I began seeing what they were teaching. It was appalling. I started getting more involved with school boards and bills afterwards when I was asked to run for 2023. The loss was close. I plan to keep fighting for a better future for my children and family members as long as I am able.

2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state?

Safety- working with our sheriffs still and our chiefs to keep their voices heard on how to better serve our communities.
Inflation- fiscal spending.
School Choice- we’re now paying around $30k per child with major flaws in getting our children to reach milestones for each grade. Yet every year they levy the spending in December with more increases. The schools are gaining too much power over our own children. They’re attempting to allow children medical treatment without telling or informing their parents. If the parents do not accept it, they can be changed with abuse and taken away from their parents.
