1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected? | I have worked in and around politics and policy my entire adult life. I never intended to run for office. However, when the current seat holder termed out; I felt impressed to run for the open seat. I feel that with my experience and having lived in my district for 19 years; that I am uniquely qualified to represent the voters of my district at this time. Also, as a mother of 4 children and a conservative Republican, I understand the significance that this election has to Arizona. We need people to fight for conservative values, represent Republicans and who have the intelligence and ability to do both well. |
2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state? | 1. The Border/Public Safety; we desperately need to get the Boarder under control because there is an increase in crime that is effecting the safety of our communities, businesses and families. This is a difficult issue because it is not just a state issue it is also a federal issue. However, if the federal government won't do its job then it falls on Arizona to do it. We currently have a Governor who is hesitant to make substantive changes to our boarder security and so we need more voices and to build a consensus amongst voters to ensure that the Governor listens and acts to secure our state. 2. Education; School Choice and parental rights are vitally important to ensuring that parents and students have the educational options that we need. Choice also raises the bar for District schools and helps them to dial back their woke policies and agenda. This is an issue that I have keen policy experience on and we have Governor who is determined to mitigate school choice in Arizona. It is vitally important that we stay vigilant on this issue. 3. Inflation and the Economy. Radical policies have continued to burden Americans with the inflation of everything from food to gas to housing. Arizona is no different. Again this is both a Federal and a State issue. However, there are many good economic principles that can be carried out on a state level to help mitigate costs in various ways. We also can support business growth and economic growth in our state to ensure that voters have good jobs, affordable housing and a vibrant economy to provide for their families. |
