1. What inspired you to run for public office, and what positive changes do you hope to bring to your district/state if elected?

I am in my 4th year of working for Congressman Burgess Owens as his Director of Outreach in Utahs 4th Congressional District. As I see Federal policy become increasingly dangerous and unconstitutional I have never been more convinced that we HAVE to protect Utahs sovereignty and the citizens individual rights ! Local control is BEST and we need to protect our rights.
Wether it’s education, small business, our Public lands or other areas where the Feds have oversight, more and more control is being seized by them and taking away our amended rights!!
I am working in the very issues now that I will fight for as a legislator and want to be a strong light and voice for good as a woman of faith, freedom and family principles of the pursuit of happiness.
As a mother of 9 I am a strong advocate for the rising generation and preparing the way so they do not inherit a country we don’t recognize. It is vital we teach the Constitution in families, schools and communities to ensure we can carry on with the maximum freedom under the law so everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

2. Please identify the top three critical issues facing your state, and how do you envision solving them to benefit the communities in your state?

1. Ensure States rights / public lands and food security related
2. Manage growth as Utah Valley is one of the fastest growing counties in America.( our children and grand children won’t be able to afford to live in Utah otherwise)
3. Help vulnerable populations find answers to self reliance and prosperity opportunities.

Ensure that our state is educated about its most pressing issues -one’s that affect all of Utah and gather a collaborative approach.

What affects one affects all -help
Support policy that pushes back on federal policy and mandates.
Listen to constituents regularly to hear what’s happening on the most local levels-
