KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

To protect our children by reviewing what books are in their library and making sure they are appropriate.
To make sure the special education program is getting all the funding they need to help our children so they are not struggling.

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

The fact that the leadership is so rude, and threatening to the teachers, I would try to bridge that gap and make sure that the leadership is held responsible for any retaliation that they try to inflict on the teachers.
The inappropriate books in the library is making it to where is parents are afraid to let our kids read and they should be able to read anytime, I’d review the books in the libraries and make sure that they are age appropriate for our children.

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

Yes but schools should listen to their communities before making choices.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

The teachers and parents because they are the ones helping our future generations learn the basics of right and wrong and the politics should stay out of the schools.

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

No I believe that racism is made not born. We all bleed red and are all human. God loves us all no matter our color!!

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

No I believe our children need to focus on their academics all this other stuff is all too much for their minds to comprehend, if you want it to be taught teach it to the seniors before they are heading off to college not our innocent elementary children.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

I’d take us back to the basics, and make sure we are focusing on those and the essential life lessons and skills every child should learn so they can be successful when they leave home.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

What about the boys?!? Every child’s safety is a concern and I’m more concerned about the bullying than I am about anything, the bullying is out of control across the country and we need to stop it there before we can go further.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

Yes, with the transgender identities, the whole law is at stake and some colleges and schools have specific grants and scholarships for those that are transgender and that’s not fair.

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

None unfortunately I’m a mother of three kids and the economy isn’t the best to try to give extra money to things like this even though it’s important.
