KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

I want the opportunity to be on the other side of the table to really fight to create change in our district. I want to be able to be a voice for parents and teachers as well as students who want to see the same changes in our area.

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

I want to tackle a huge issue with our curriculum and take our schools back to a level of education that doesn't just push these kids through but help them grown and succeed. We live in such an agriculture rich area and I am so tired of us not utilizing that to make sure our children are not only fed but fed well as well as fixing the issue of charging our children to eat lunch. We spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on computer programs to teach them but we can't afford to fed them.?

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

Yes I do believe we can utilize school choice to help our kids in Henderson county to succeed in a place that is best for them.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

It should be their parents.

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

Absolutely not. I do believe that racism exists but it's far too often coming from those who claim racism against others. Our country fought hard to help everyone be equal and I feel like the tide shifted dramatically in this country when Obama took office and fueled a fire that created so much division.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

I believe that Sexual education can be appropriately taught in 5th grade with parental consent and access to the material ahead of time. As well as middle school but again appropriately done with proper consent and with information on what they need in regards to reproductive health just like it used to be.... DEI has spoken for itself in just how dangerous and divisive it is. Everyone deserves opportunities to achieve any goal or job or team they want to be a part of as long as they are qualified to do so not because of what they look like. And Social Emotional learning has proved to be an excuse for bad behavior and created such a dark mental health crisis in our country and in our schools. We do not have enough counselors and social workers to properly help children who have real mental health issues instead of pandering to who they feel like being today.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

Stop teaching material that is focused on DEI, and LGBTQ+, they don't have text books anymore everything is taught online and we are absolutely testing these children to death. They need to go back to the basics of education, not to mention so many missed phonics at a crucial age because of the stupid masks.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

It's simple we have boys, and we have girls. We have female coaches for girls gym and male coaches for boys. Boys and girls sports are for real boys and girls. We need Male and Female counselors in EVERY school everyday and I think we need a Male and female SRO officer in every school as well.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

I think if the wrong people become elected it will be on the list of "outdated" things they want to add or take away from to protect people who "feel" like someone else like people who claim to be transgender or non binary. In the end allowing them to legally be a part of something like a boy being able to be in a girls Gym class.

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

From my local GOP office as well as our Republican men's and woman's groups and a great many of our Sheriff officers. I have been very blessed to receive so much love and support from Henderson county
