KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

I became more involved in our school district after finding over 40 pornographic books in our school libraries. After a year long fight, I was able to get every book completely removed. Since that has been taken care of, I am running because I am a parent of two children enrolled in our public school system. It is my mission to prevent woke agendas and issues being forced on not only my children, but all of the children of my county. I also want to be a guardian of our students and faculty’s Constitutional rights, especially the right to freely worship. The people in my county want to be represented by a Christian Conservative for their school board.

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

Even with the removal of the pornographic books, our media policy needs to be strengthened to prevent further materials from returning in the future. Without a doubt, bulk book companies will replace the material that has been removed with new titles that are equally appalling and inappropriate for children.
Another issue that we have is the lack of discipline. This has occurred because of weak punishments (if any) and the lack of parental involvement. New policy should be created that will ensure that administrators are carrying out their duties and responsibilities to enforce the rules and carry out the proper consequences for unruly student behavior.

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

Absolutely. I believe that tax payers should be able to use their child’s allotted funds at the school of their choice.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

Parents are the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

No. America allows anyone of any race the opportunity to be successful without discrimination for the color of their skin.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

I do not support any of the three. First, parents should be the one responsible for teaching their children about sexual issues. Second, DEI is communism. Third, Social emotional learning is a trojan horse to allow CRT and DEI into the schools. It is also not the teachers responsibility to become psychologists.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

I believe academic issues are caused by the constant use of electronic devices such as laptops used in our districts. Studies have shown that students retain more of the information if they are required to handwrite notes and school work rather than seeing it on a screen. We should cut our usage of electronic devices in the classroom at least by half. Secondly, the lack of parental involvement is contributing to the declining grades of our students. Parents also feel like there is no effort to try to include them more and they feel unwelcome. We need to work to involve more parents in their children's educational process.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

No student who is physically male should have access to a female restroom/locker room.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

I believe that Biden’s expansion of Title IX puts our female students in danger and should be fought against at all cost…even if it means losing federal funding.
