KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

I want to run for school board because I have the experience and expertise to make the change needed to the dangerous leftist agenda and policy that has been implemented in Fairfax County Public Schools. With almost thirty years of experience as a teacher and advocate, I'm the only candidate ready to start on day one. With my expertise, I intend to restore parents' rights and bring back academic excellence for all students.

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

Currently, Fairfax County Public Schools has a policy in place excluding parents from being notified that their child had changed their gender identity and is receiving services for their gender dysphoria at school. I intend to advocate for an audit of those services and removal of that policy. Attached to that policy is the pronoun policy which forces children to use the preferred pronoun and name of adults and students against their rights. I intend to remove this harmful policy.

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

I support school choice and the educational freedom of parents to choose what is best for their child and family. Education should not be a one size fits all entity. As a school board member I have the right to motion and propose specific changes to the current closed door policy preventing many children from accessing education choice and resources supporting their education freedom. The child should always come first before the system.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

The parent is the ultimate authority in a child's education and wellbeing.

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

America isn't inherently racist. We are the land of freedom and opportunity which is ingrained in our Constitution and Bill of Rights. The mere notion that we are inherently racist is a cultural propaganda campaign to grow the support of the leftist political agenda. There is no room in the curriculum and culture of a school system to promote a false and negative narrative such as this.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

Parents must have the right to choose what is taught to their children. Comprehensive Sex Education, DEI and SEL all need to be removed from the schools because they are all programs using children as experiments. There is no valid evidence supporting any of it.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

I'd start with the elimination of the training in DEI, SEL and all other politically driven programs. I'd reallocate funding to ensure our teachers are focused and trained in the teaching of the foundational skills (writing, reading and math) our children need to become successful.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

I will ensure that only biological girls are permitted in the restrooms and locker rooms. Girls have the right to safety and privacy. I will advocate and motion for changes in the current policy allowing those that are not biologically female to enter their private spaces.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

Yes, biological girls are at risk for losing their rights to privacy, safety and athletic success.

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

The MAVENS (Tyler Ohta) endorsed me.
