KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board? | To be a voice for parents that have been speaking out against gender/equity ideology. |
2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue. | 1. The school board, in the past 3 years, has not taken any parents concerns into consideration when voting. |
3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not? | Absolutely. I believe it will clean the schools up. Without the students, there's no money. If parents find a school that teaches according to what they believe is right, that's where the child will go. It will truly raise the bar. |
4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing? | His or Her Parents |
5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not? | No. I think that's a great way to keep us all divided. |
6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why? | None of this should be a part of a public school in any way, shape or form. We need kids ready for adulthood and responsibilities. These ideologies are dangerous and have no place in public school. Parents should have full say in their children's lives until they're out of their own. |
7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected? | We need higher standards for academics and much less of all the new stuff. (Sex, equity, feelings) |
8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected? | I fully support separate gender bathrooms. Biological sex, not how you feel. I will fight hard for the safety of all the children. The kids need to feel safe and comfortable in the space they use to change or use the washroom. To have it any other way is preposterous. |
9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today? | I think it's all a mess and we need to go back ti traditional way of doing a lot of things, especially when it comes to "gender discrimination " |
10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them. | We the parents Illinois |
