KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board? | I am running for school board to protect Parental Rights in Education, to ensure children get good, solid academic teaching and protect them from indoctrination in all forms. |
2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue. | 1. Overcrowding - I am presently meeting with various city officials to discuss how the school board can work with them to correct this problem and prevent it in the future. |
3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not? | I support school choice so long as the government does not dictate the type of curriculum, assessments or any other aspect of private, parochial or homeschools. We want the money to follow the child but not with strings attached that could lead to their deterioration of these schools as we currently see happening in public schools. |
4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing? | THE PARENTS!!!!! |
5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not? | Absolutely not! Racism is a heart issue, not something inherent in a country. |
6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why? | All of these should be left to the parents to teach, if they so choose. Schools are for academics and some extracurricular skills and activities. CSE, DEI, SEL and the like have no place in education. |
7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected? | I would like to cull the influx of SEL curriculum and review current in-place curriculum(s) to see if it they are properly and effectively teaching academia. Money saved from restricting the purchase of more SEL curriculum and redirecting funds away from data collection via surveys can be used instead to ensure teachers have what they need in class to support teaching core subjects like math, reading, writing and science. |
8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected? | I will advocate for and always vote to keep all girls and boys spaces completely separate. I will fight against anything other than separate spaces for boys and girls with every fiber of my being. |
9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today? | Yes, I do believe it is in jeopardy when our government cannot even articulate what defines a woman. |
10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them. | Not at this time. |
