KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

Parents Rights
Removal of obscene, vulgar, and pornographic books from the library and curriculum's

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

The board has not prioritized the removal of explicit books from the schools and have slow walked the adoption of the new TEA policy which addresses these types of books in the libraries and classrooms. I will put the policy up for vote and hold the librarians accountable for removing the books that violate education code.

During COVID parents who wanted to choose what was best for their children medically were ignored and disregarded. I will always be a voice as I have been for parents and will be a critical thinker should a similar issue arise in the future.

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

We home schooled for a year and so we have mixed feelings about this. On one hand we were very upset that during that time frame we still had to pay taxes to the school district. On the other hand, we do not want the government to be able to get into the business of home school parents. A school choice advocate put it this way to me, the government can ultimately get into the home school parents business if they want to. We might as well, take a win (meaning our tax dollars) while we can and apply it how we want. The other positive to that is that it would also make public schools more competitive if they start seeing a drop in enrollment. I still have to read more into the bill and see what the implications are for the tax payers, so my final decision on the subject has not been made.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

ALWAYS THE PARENT, NEVER THE SCHOOL

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

No, I think racism is not born into the child, rather taught to them through television, music, the schools, etc. We are raising our children to look at the character and actions of the individual, not their skin color. The more you propagate race and discuss it, the longer it stays around. This thought of America being inherently racist is another way to divide us through reverse racism.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

NO and it is evil. We do not let our children go through the sex ed classes in the schools. Those discussions are to be made by the parent and only the parent. If you study the founder of the modern Sex Ed program in the schools, you can see what the ultimate goal is for this program. DEI and SEL are ways that the school is trying to become the parent. This is socialism at its core and those practices do not belong in the schools. It is not the place of the public education system to teach my child or any other child, who to love, who to accept, and how to be socially aware.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

Quit teaching to the test. The teachers are so pressured to focus on meeting data points that the actual teaching is being neglected. We need to do away with MAP testing and figure out a way to perform the minimum as it relates to other standardized tests. We do not believe in standardized testing (one size fits all mentality) which is why we opt our children out of those tests.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

Biological males will never be allowed in girls bathrooms in KISD. That is a hill I will die on fighting for if that need arises. God created us a certain way and to think you can alter that in my opinion a delusional disorder. I think children should not be allowed to have their cell phones during the school day, this presents a potential for photos or videos to be taken in places they should not. As a matter of fact, I just won my grievance regarding this matter in the Hal Peterson Middle School. I am also for the School Marshal Program.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

Absolutely, girls should be in girl's sports and boys in boy's sports.

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

Parents' Rights In Education has endorsed me and Moms for Liberty should be as well.
