Ohio school have lost focus on what is important in education. What is important is facts-based, age-appropriate curriculum, protect student data privacy, physical privacy, recognize parent’s rights, Promote the teaching of American history, and cultivate a learning environment which embraces freedom of speech, religion and respect for all students and teachers.

In recent years Ohio students have become pawns in a war for values. Confusing students with gender identity, dividing students with Critical Race Theory, Distorting history with the 1619 project, Teaching Equity instead of Equality, Social Justice instead of Justice and promotion of Marxist concepts are forces that confront Ohio Schools.

Lack of Transparency: During the covid pandemic Miamisburg City Schools received $8,816,841 in ESSER III funding in exchange for their plan how they would implement the CDC Guidance in regard to social distancing, contract tracing universal masking and promotion of an experimental vaccine to students who have zero percent chance statically of dying of covid. The school board had zero transparency and came to the school board meeting as planned in September 2021 all wearing their masks. In this case, the school board put money ahead of students. When I am a school board member I will respect the rights of parents to be informed regarding "all aspects of their children’s school experience, and opt-out of all aspects parent’s find objectionable"

Support of LGBTQ agenda: Currently the Miamisburg city schools has a pride flag hanging in the Library window and an LGBTQ councilor at the Miamisburg High School. I believe in school choice since school choice allows parents to decide were they will send their children and fosters competition between schools

I believe that Parents are the ultimate authority in regard to a child's education and wellbeing.

I read the book think and grow rich by Napoleon Hill and learned that in America you can acquire (or accomplish) provided you believe you can, choose a date to accomplish it by, create a plan to acquire it, work on it every day and assemble a team of like minded individuals to acquire it. Simply asking this question in my mind is a racist statement and I will no part of it. Racism has no place in America. Just like focusing on success leads to success, focussing on destructive things like racism leads you down a path of destructions.

Comprehensive Sex Education has no place in Ohio Schools. Elements that are taught as part of Comprehensive Sex Education are destructive.

Diversity Equity and Inclusion creates real issues for parents and students. Imagine having a daughter who is suffering from sever depression and concludes through a social cotangent that she is really a boy. The school (without parental consent) affirms her, socially transitions her and gets her started on Hormone Therapy effectively stopping development an a woman destroying her life.

Social Emotional Learning essentially is a mechanism that schools use to indoctrinate students into a belief statement that promotes Marxist concepts. I believe that these "Comprehensive Sex Education", "Diversity Equity and Inclusion" and "Social Emotional Learning" should have no place in Ohio Public Education

My approach would be to shift the focus of education to reading, writing, math, and science instead of focusing on counter productive topics such as Social Emotional Learning. Further more would support programs that identify high risk students and identify and implement strategies to get them the help they need to gain the valuable skills of reading, writing, math and science.

I would support physical privacy and Safety by limiting access to bathrooms, locker rooms, showers and other such facilities by biological sex.

Yes, Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today.
- Under the Obama administration added transgender protections were added to Title IX
- Trump administration un-did those protections
- The Biden administration added transgender protections back to Title IX and leveraged the Department of Agriculture to punish school districts that do not abide
