KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

A strong education is key to the success of young people. I want to help ensure that they are ready the next phase of their life whether that is a four year college, a two year college, or a trade job. In order to ensure a strong education, we must be on alert to guard against indoctrination. I am committed to fighting against this every day.

I am 27 years old and have a disability. My youth allows me to relate to the student experience as I graduated from public school. I want to ensure that student voices are heard. My disability allows me to bring a different perspective that is not represented on the current board.

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

• Raising our academic rating as a district from a B. This starts by supporting teachers when disciplinary action is required. Ensuring that all students are in the appropriate academic setting to ensure their success is extremely important.
• Restore discipline in the classroom with a three strikes policy

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

Yes, assuming the passage of SB 8 in the State Legislature

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

The mother and father.

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

No. However, race has been an important part of our history and we should not shy away from it.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

These subjects should not be taught and need to be handled at home. This helps ensure the student can think critically.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

1. Investigating classical curriculums such as Hillsdale College. If they do not meet state law, adapting them so that they do meet the law.
2. Hiring engaged and committed teacher and supporting them when disciplinary action is required.
3. Removing all personal devices from students and teachers when in the classroom unless otherwise specified by an IEP.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

Boys are only allowed in boys spaces. Girls are only allowed in girls spaces. Get rid of “inclusive” spaces.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

Yes.

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

I am supported by the Texas Church Leaders.
