KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

Failing schools and wasteful spending

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

1. The schools are out of control. First thing I’d do is not allow student cell phones anymore. The disruptions from tik tok challenges to the sharing of inappropriate photos has gotten ridiculous. Second give the elementaries three recesses like the private schools do. Then get out of the box and find curriculums that work. We don’t teach critical thinking and problem solving and that should start in prek and kindergarten. Find out where other schools (private, homeschoolers, charter…) are having success.
2. Streamline administration and focus the money towards the teachers and paraprofessionals. They are the frontline and the ones that are hands on with the children everyday. Admins are so bloated and superintendents are over paid.

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

Yes absolutely. I personally think that a true voucher system is the only way public schools can be fixed. Competition creates pressure to change. It also fosters creativity and better results.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

Parents are the ultimate authority of a child

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

No. The only thing racist about America is that certain groups constantly point out people’s race to achieve some political narrative.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

I think most social skills should be left to the parents. I wouldn’t have a problem with the schools teaching manners. 😏

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

Like I said earlier. Talk to those who are having success and why and how. Incorporate those things into the curriculum.

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

Girls should have their own spaces. And I mean only biological girls.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

Yes. It is being used to manipulate what we are allowed to do in the public schools

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

No
