KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reasons why you want to run for school board?

Eliminate sexually explicit material and critical race theory/communism from curriculum
Improve student academic performance

2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue.

See above for top two issues. I plan to address the first by introducing policy to strengthen parents rights regarding curriculum transparency, and encourage curriculum challenges in the community so that a conservative board can get rid of the material. I plan to address the second by spending less on athletics and computer software and by requiring teachers map their course objectives to state standards for the subject area they are contracted to teach.

3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not?

I do. Because competition breeds excellence.

4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

Parents. 100 percent, every day of the week.

5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

Absolutely not. We are the most free country in the world. Our government recognizes inalienable civil rights that cannot be infringed upon by a tyrannical governmental authority, and those rights are enumerated for every citizens, regardless of race.

6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why?

Each of those concepts do not belong in public school curriculum and have become a highway for social engineering and brainwashing of an entire generation being groomed to surrender their rights to the government.

7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected?

Require each course objective be matched to a state educational standard, and each assignment be mapped to a course objective. I would work to defund SEL curriculum and encourage an alternative to the liberal teacher’s union: the Association of American Educators

8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected?

Any bathrooms, locker rooms and hotel rooms for overnight trips and participation on organized athletic team activities are reserved for students of the same biological sex.

9. Do you believe Title IX is in jeopardy in our public education system today?

Yes

10. Do you have any other endorsements? If so, please list them.

Kansas House Representative Pat Proctor
Former Kansas House Representative David French
Mary Wood and Amy Cawvey, current conservative board members
