2. Name the top 2 issues with your current school board or district and how you will address each issue. | Parental Rights-Policy 3211 with conjunction with SB5599 Rewrite Policy to ensure safety for all students. Ensure local control. |
3. Do you support school choice? Why or why not? | Yes I do! I believe it will increase accountability in area of education. Parents are a primary stakeholders for their kids, school choice can truly establish this fact and give power back to the parents. |
4. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing? | Parents. |
5. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not? | No, I do not believe so! I was born in communist country that oppressed its people, and it had nothing to do with color of their skin. Racism or any kind of divide is evil and speaks about lack of kindness of ones heart nothing more. |
6. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why? | No I do not believe any of these curriculum should have place in our public education. These are very personal matters that should remain between a child and a parent. School and state have no business getting involved in these matters. I consider these to be an indoctrination. |
7. With declining academic achievement in reading, writing, math, and science in schools across the nation, how would you address these issues if elected? | Study, review and compare data. Seek available resources including private sector. |
8. Safety is a major concern for most families, how would you support and encourage safety measures for girls in their private spaces, if elected? | Individual Bathroom stalls. Individual changing rooms and shower stalls. |
