KEY ISSUES
1. What are your top 2 reasons for running for library board?

I love libraries, they are the community hub.
I see that they've become places (like schools) that use propaganda to push agendas.

2. How important is classic literature to education?

Classic literature is important to education because it allows us to view times, places and people that we would never directly get to experience.
If you want to know the future, look at the past. -Albert Einstein

3. Who do you think is the ultimate authority in a child’s education and wellbeing?

Parents

4. Do you agree with the statement “America is inherently racist”? Why or why not?

No, America is not inherently racist". That term is propaganda that is being used by the powers that be to divide our nation. My parents are from another country, and while I was growing up I did not experience "racism", until an elected official started requesting I check a box for my nationality.

5. What are your thoughts on “Comprehensive Sex Education”, “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”, and “Social Emotional Learning”? Should these be a part of our public education curriculum or supplemental learning materials or left to parents to teach and why

Comprehensive Sex Education is child grooming (I could write an essay on this one). Diversity, Equity and Inclusion does the opposite of what it states; it causes division. As far as social emotional learning, it does not be to be taught so much as to just allow children more play time to develop naturally. These programs are more than government over-reach, they are an attack on our children's innocence.

6. Do you believe drag queen story time is important to the educational experience of children?

Drag queen story hour is an abomination and abuse of our children.

7. Do you think highlighting authors based on nationality is beneficial to readers?

I do not think it is beneficial to highlight an author's nationality, in fact it is a form of racism and/or segregation. I am an avid book reader, and if I enjoy a certain book that is when I search out the author. Pointing out people's nationalities just to point them out is divisive and ridiculous. I wouldn't appreciate it myself, unless that was my subject.

8. What are your thoughts on books having similar ratings as movies?

Books should be rated. In the past adult books were in the adult section, but now many books have blurred the lines. It is because of this that a rating would be beneficial.

9. With pressure to have “inclusive” reading material for children, how will you ensure that the books in your district library are within traditional age-appropriate standards?

The cat is already out of the bag, and it is highly probable that the pressure being used is monetary.
To counter "pressure" we could look for funding sources that are not tied to bribery and to ensure books are age appropriate, not being afraid to speak out against the propaganda and demoralization of our nation would be a start.

10. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

We The Parents
