KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office.

To continue to fight for the rights of citizens, businesses, and neighborhoods of the city.
Continue to fight for a balance budget in the city.
Make neighborhoods safe for the people of Fullerton and especially the children.

2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how?

Infrastructure and street repair, we need to work harder to get these repairs done as we have many water main breaks and pot holes and cracks in the streets.

Marijuana dispensaries, if approved should not be within the areas of schools, libraries, neighborhoods, or other businesses. They need to be placed in industrial areas if they are to be allowed city properties at all.

3. Do you support defunding the police?

No, the police are necessary, however some need to be aware that their jobs are to serve and protect, not judge and executioner.

4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not?

I believe that there is a place for a framework that promotes fair treatment and participation for everyone. I also believe that this is already in place in most businesses and workplaces. Regardless I support a merit based system for true equity.

5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly?

Treat everyone the same, insist on high quality municipal services.

6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not?

Yes I do. Residents can be helpful by bringing a different perspective to the table. Government could use some fresh or diverse ideas.

7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?

Fix the streets and infrastructure which benefits all and all forms of transit.

8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town?

I do not support these.

9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations?

It sounds like creating a new law. Elected officials are to follow existing law not create their own.

10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town?

There is no ultimate authority in Fullerton.

11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

Crime Victims
Parents Voice
Fullerton Association of Taxpayers

12. Do you support making laws to protect life keeping in mind there are many views on what this means?Yes
