KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office.

The top two reasons why I am running for office are to advocate for public health and safety in Tustin, especially concerning environmental concerns, and to provide leadership that prioritizes clear communication and accountability. Additionally, as the only woman running for a seat on the Tustin City Council, I aim to bring a much-needed female perspective to local leadership, ensuring inclusive decision-making for the community.

2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how?

1. Development of the former MCAS base; and surrounding parcels.
2. Affordable housing

3. Do you support defunding the police?

Absolutely not.

4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not?

No.

5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly?

I believe DEI training for public officials should focus on individual merit, equal opportunity, and personal responsibility, ensuring fair treatment for everyone without relying on identity-based quotas or preferences.

6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not?

Citizens should be involved in decision-making because it promotes accountability, ensures that policies reflect the community's values, and upholds the principle of limited government by giving individuals a direct voice in shaping their own future.

7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?

With a $1 million grant, I would focus on enhancing public health infrastructure, supporting small businesses, and investing in sustainable community projects that promote economic growth and environmental resilience in Tustin.

8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town?

I believe sanctuary cities can undermine the rule of law by creating inconsistencies between federal and local enforcement, which may compromise public safety. Instead, I support policies that prioritize legal immigration and ensure cooperation between local authorities and federal agencies to maintain community trust and safety.

9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations?

No, absolutely not.

10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town?

It’s the person(s) personal authority to take responsibility of their health.

11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

Forward Party and the Tustin Republican Federal Committee

12. Do you support making laws to protect life keeping in mind there are many views on what this means?Yes
