KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office.

I want to give back to my community. I am a problem solver, and I want to serve my community and represent all of my citizen's interests. I have the educational background, associations with elected officials, and the experience necessary to provide quality representation.

2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how?

Number one is maintaining the proper funding levels for law enforcement and public safety. The second is keeping the lid on government spending and taxation.

3. Do you support defunding the police?

No, I fully support our men and women in blue.

4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not?

DEI should never be a part of any government agency and it is a discredited policy that has been found to be illegal in some instances.

5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly?

I am opposed to government promoting or advocating for any lifestyle.

6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not?

Yes, people should be involved in their government and informed of the decisions that are being made. As a candidate, and a representative of a county board district, I will solicit opinions and views from my constituents.

7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?

I would invest that grant to invest in infrastructure.

8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town?

I am opposed to sanctuary status.

9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations?

If there is a legitimate issue or concern that results in a dispute, it should be addressed in a courtroom.

10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town?

Our elected representatives.

11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

I am endorsed by the Operating Engineers and every Countywide office holder in the county including the Sheriff and State's Attorney. I am also endorsed by the county Farm Bureau. Lastly, I am endorsed by McHenry SAFE PAC.

12. Do you support making laws to protect life keeping in mind there are many views on what this means?Yes
