KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office. | 1. Restore the true role of government: the preservation of life, liberty, and property. |
2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how? | 1. Fiscal Responsibility. I will introduce the taxpayer bill of right (TABOR) on day one to ensure that the voters get to vote on every new tax or tax increase in Kentucky, where the ballot question will list (1) what is getting taxed, (2) the rate it is getting taxed, (3) how much this tax will cost the average Kentucky Family, and (4) where the tax revenue will go. This will ensure that our tax system represents the people of Kentucky, not special interests. We have an addiction to spending, which has led to Kentucky being overly reliant upon the federal government, and enacting TABOR would be an excellent step to reclaiming Kentucky's sovereignty from the swamp. 2. Educational Freedom. Part of the reason I ran was because both of my opponents oppose school choice. But I trust parents to raise their children far more than I trust the government. The Kentucky Supreme Court has waged war on school choice efforts in Kentucky, |
3. Do you support defunding the police? | No. Crime is on the rise, no matter how much the media and the Biden/Harris regime tries to gaslight us into thinking otherwise. We need police to protect public safety and enforce our laws. Defunding the police would only make victimizing the innocent easier than it already is. |
4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not? | So-called DEI requirements judge students based on the color of their skin, not the content of their character. DEI is divisive. DEI is racist. DEI is a lie, and it has no place in Kentucky Education. Since the Supreme Court struck down as unconstitutional the racist practice of accounting for skin color in college admissions processes known as Affirmative Action, universities and schools are rebranding the EXACT same, and often worse, practices as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Now, schools are also trying to incorporate this false, racially charged ideology into the curriculum of our schools along with using it in admissions, and even requiring “DEI trainings” to remain in good standing as a student. This must end. This must end, in part, because there has been no study to ever show that DEI requirements actually increase diversity anywhere; not in the workplace, not in the school house, not in any place in society. It doesn’t benefit students, but it only benefits bureaucrats who collect tax-funded salaries with no benefits. DEI is a lie. DEI is a power grab, and is a weapon used to destroy conversations, equal opportunity, and merit. I stand with those in Frankfort who are pushing to ban DEI from Kentucky schools and universities. |
5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly? | I would prioritize reality over accomodating delusion. God made us in His image, and part of that creation was that humans are divided between males and females. Nothing can change that, and that includes grotesque displays of "pride" in front of children. I intend to work with people like Senator Lindsey Tichenor, Rep. Candy Massaroni, and Rep. Josh Calloway to ensure children's innocence are protected from delusion in public and in our educational institutions. |
6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not? | The consent of the governed is more than just a mantra to me. I believe in pushing for constituent-driven legislation and ensuring that politicians are held accountable |
7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why? | I would use the funds to provide school choice for families who are caught in a school that is not educating their child as well as another school can. Our future depends upon ensuring that children are effectively educated, and there is simply no such thing as a perfect school for every child. In KY, the average private school annual tuition is $7,129. So that million dollars could provide one year of school choice for 140 Boone County Students. If even ONE of those students uses the education they receive to succeed in the way I know they can, this grant would more than pay for itself. |
8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town? | I am against all sanctuary cities for illegal immigration. I believe all illegal immigrants should be deported, and ineligible for any benefits if they are here. I was involved in a statewide push to make Counties Second Amendment sanctuaries, so I do want to be clear that I am for those, just not sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants or violators of legitimate, constitutional laws. Autonomous zones are an assault on America's and Kentucky's autonomy. They are a hub for violent crime, and should be crushed upon their establishment, and I have no doubt the Boone County Sheriff would make sure these never last an hour in Boone County. This has been proven to be a crucial issue especially given the gangs overtaking apartment buildings in Aurora Colorado. |
9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations? | I'm completely against mandatory closure of private businesses. I almost went to jail for going to church (Roberts v. Neace) and was anti-lockdown from day one. The business closures of 2020 were an abomination and must never again be repreated, and I currently represent clients who refused to comply in Kentucky. |
10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town? | Families and churches. I believe the role of government is to protect life, liberty, and property. Nothing more. The institutions of civil society, namely strong families, creating strong communities united by a common faith, is the best guarantor of health, safety, and prosperity in world history. |
11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones? | Yes. Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police, Kentucky Right to Life, Northern Kentucky Right to Life, Kentucky Right to Life, Republican Liberty Caucus, Students for Trump - NKY, National Association for Gun Rights, NRA, Stand for health Freedom, Kentucky Liberty Republican Association, The Bull Moose Project, Republicans for National Renewal |
12. Do you support making laws to protect life keeping in mind there are many views on what this means? | Yes |
