KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office. | We need more godly minded people in office. We need more constitutionally minded people in office. I want to run for office to ensure my community is safe from tyranny. |
2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how? | Infrastructure- Our infrastructure in Brevard is failing. One of the ways I plan to help fix that is making our government spending more efficient; making sure departments are not making decisions that will have costly consequences for other departments. Transparency- Our county leadership has a bad habit of leaving key details out of the conversation when disclosing things to the public, if they even disclose things at all. I want to change our procedures so that all the information is readily available to the public. |
3. Do you support defunding the police? | Absolutely NOT |
4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not? | I am not a fan of DEI , I think it is detrimental to our society. Of course we want to make sure bullying and harassment doesn’t happen, but DEI is not the answer. I will work to get that out of our county buildings. |
5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly? | I will ensure that all state laws are adhered to. I will also propose that any events that are not family friendly are held in a private setting and must enforce an 18+ rule. |
6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not? | Absolutely! Our number 1 job is to make sure we are advocating for our communities, getting the input of our residents will be a top priority for me! |
7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why? | I would use it to either pay off a debt, or put it towards infrastructure. |
8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town? | Absolutely not! I am 100% against this. |
9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations? | This is government overreach and not the roll of government. When I’m county commissioner, I will never vote to close our economy! |
10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town? | God and the public themselves. People have the right to do what they feel is necessary to protect their families in a health emergency. |
11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones? | I am not yet, but I just declared 5 days ago. |
