KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office.

1. I am a social and fiscal conservative. I want to get this State get back on track with its finances. I also want to goverment to leave people alone, allowing for freedom from governmental interference on moral issues.
2. I am and have been very upset with those elected to office, both Democrat and many Republicans. I want transparency and honesty with the citizens of this State. I believe I can be part of that solution.

2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how?

1. Reduction of taxes. Woodford County, though having the 8th largest financial strength of the 102 counties in the State, does and automatic 4.99 % increase in taxes, allowing them to stay under the threshold of having to publicly (outside of their open meeting) let the voters know, nor having to do any referendum. Automatic increases need to stop. There needs to be a better accounting of why a tax increase would be needed.
2. The State has a moral issue in its sex education in the public schools. The parents are in charge of their children's moral and religious education. The school should be just a tool to provide communication, math, and science education.

3. Do you support defunding the police?

No, that is the most stupidest idea.

4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not?

It should not be implemented as training to employees, nor school children. The way it is taught it 1. Pits one peoples group against another. 2. Lifts some people groups higher, and others lower. The United Stated was founded on the fact that all people are created equal, There should no favoritism of one class or people group over another.

5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly?

Only provide what the law requires, and not overdo accommodations, as that will get too costly, and possibly upset one group over another thus drawing lawsuits. . Common sense needs to come back to goverment. I hope to be part of it.

6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not?

Yes. The better informed the citizens the better pool of people to get ideas from. Sometimes those great ideas can come from where one least expects it.

7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?

I am president of our Benson Fire Protection district. We are in desperate need of a new building, as the building we use now double parks the truck, and the basement foundation is cracking. This current building cannot handle of fit the larger fire trucks that are being produced today.

8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town?

We don't have any that I am aware of. Scantuary cities are, in my opinion, illegal.

9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations?

It oversteps the authority of our goverment. The constitution limits goverment, not so much the citizens. Especially when it comes to religious practice, it is protected completely from goverment over reach.

10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town?

The county health department by law, the citizens in a representative democracy.

11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

For the 2023/2024 race I have not, it is still too early. For past races I have, such as an A rating from the National Rifle Association. Endorsed by the Chicago Tribune, Illinois Right to Life, and the Constitutional Colonel (ConstitutionalCOL.com)
