KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office. | 1) The current leadership is not protecting our traditional values, or our children. He is running dangerous agenda's that put our children at risk and our culture. 2) It's time to eliminate the Good Ole Boys club - the man has never had anyone run against him in almost 10 years and the public is being fleeced financially and culturally. |
2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how? | 1) A diversion from traditional values that has made our community one of the top destinations to live. I will no longer allow agenda's that are sweeping our nation to come in to our town and create a new culture. I will institute a Constitutionally sound decency ordinance. The mayor sets the 'tone' of the city and I will start with the staff and work my way out until the correct value system is achieved. |
3. Do you support defunding the police? | Absolutely not! |
4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not? | I am against all DEI, ESG, SEL, all the acronyms. It is being practiced in our city, but I will work to eliminate the policy. A recent employee survey reflected that the staff is not happy because of this policy. |
5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly? | This is our number one issue - a diversion from the traditional cultural values. I will institute a Constitutionally sound decency ordinance that will spill over in to our libraries and schools because they too are 'public property'. I am not afraid of law suits. |
6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not? | It is imperative that the citizens are part of the decision making process and are heard. This is their community. They need to understand the process and they need to be a part of the process. That is why I pledge to have a monthly town hall to include a broad portion of our community in the conversation. |
7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why? | I would put it towards work force housing. Home ownership (I am not biased because I am a Realtor) is a game changer in a families life and the outcome for the children. We have virtually no homes available in the $400k-$500k range (that's workforce here) so people rent. The opportunity to build wealth and security is the best thing we can do to create stability for our children and provide for a stronger community. |
8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town? | I am not in support of sanctuary/autonomous zones. Absolutely not! |
9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations? | Absolutely not! |
10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town? | Each individual can determine what is best for their own health. It is not for the government to decide. |
11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones? | Williamson Families; Westhaven Conservatives |
