KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office. | I have submitted my school board questionnaire twice without any response. |
2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how? | We have many issues with our local Caldwell School board. They don't know how to procedurally manage meetings, they don't know how to handle conflict within the district, and they just don't seem to care for the wellbeing of the students. They have ulterior motives for the district and have been allowed to do as they wish without any pushback. |
3. Do you support defunding the police? | No. I don't support defunding the police. I want to support the police more and I want proper services. This is another issue that our schools have had. Until recently, we have had absolutely no real "security" in our schools. The RSO's are there but the problems still exist. We just need to take care of our officers and first responders! |
4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not? | Whether it is school boards or trainings and/or city/state employees, no! The DEI, SEL, BHE, CRT and on do not belong in the schools, the cities or the state. it is an evil tactic that is being used to manipulate our students and our work force. It also disables people from understanding that they have more control over their own life/family/job than they realize. The government is here, but it isn't here to help! |
5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly? | There is a lot of pressure to accommodate lifestyles. We see it all the time from the rich and famous to the poor class. Again, for the school board, it would be wise to create and maintain a system that monitors students from all different lifestyles. I don't think a so called, "Underprivileged" kid is just for poor class kids. The reality is that a rich kid can also be very underprivileged. Define Underprivileged and it doesn't have a class. In other words, I feel like I would strive to accommodate and highlight special talents and communications that students have. IF WE TAKE AWAY THE STIGMA'S (RICH OR POOR) THAT HAVE BEEN PLACED ON CHILDREN (AND FAMILIES), WE CAN ACHIEVE A SAFE AND FAMILY-FRIENDLY COMMUNITY! |
6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not? | I do believe that involving residents in decision making in our city is important. If we don't allow our community members, from all walks of life, to express their opinions, then we don't have a fairly represented city/state/school. One of the biggest issues that we have in the school board is that parents are silenced at every meeting- so they stopped showing up to meetings or talking to principals. That isn't being fairly represented. |
7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why? | Again, looking at the school board-If I received a $1M grant to use for my school district, I would use it to pay out all the contracts for the district's administration and let them all go. I honestly think the money would be well spent and the tax payers wouldn't have to pay for it in the end. I truly believe our whole administration building does need to go. One sour grape can ruin an entire bunch of grapes. After that, whatever is left, we would need to give incentives for student attendance-perfect attendance would be a great goal. We don't have great attendance in our schools. And whatever is left from that, we would need to look at real science materials, textbooks, and so forth. The school board who cares about spending responsibly can make more changes with a little resource. |
8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town? | I do not believe sanctuary cities are useful but do believe they are harmful. They hurt our economies, our kids, our families and more. |
9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations? | I am 100% against this and also closing the schools for a fake virus. It was disappointing and it really made our communities suffer emotionally, physically, economically, and our families suffered. Not acceptable! |
10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town? | As I do believe that parents are the stake holders in their kids' education, I do believe that we the people have the ultimate authority over the health and safety of our town. The municipalities should be listening to the people they supposedly represent! |
11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones? | No. |
