KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office.

1. I would like to have a platform to do the right thing; to help the underdog, care tenderly for American children/adults, and be an example of faith in Christ
2. To speak the Truth, expose corruption, and utilize my 14 years in college (5 in an undergraduate program, 9 in graduate school) to help inform people of what exactly is going on behind the scenes, and write bills that preserve traditional family values/the constitution

2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how?

It is extremely difficult to choose two issues, as I am passionate about the many, such as illegal immigration, mental health initiatives, and supporting the 2nd amendment wholeheartedly; however, if I had to place two more specifically on the list, here are my thoughts:
1. Parental Rights/School Choice: Support and push these initiatives and the like, not only in Springfield, but cooperatively in local environments (school boards, mayoral relations, and village/township boards, etc.)
2. Tax Reform: Taxes are going up 7% this year, according to a local tax assessor (for Will County only, but Cook… likely worse). According to the PTELL Law (Property Tax Extension Law Limit), “Increases in property tax extensions are limited to the lesser of 5% or the increase in the national Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the year preceding the levy year. The limitation can be increased for a taxing body with voter approval.” Meaning… the county/all taxing bodies can tax us (over the 5% limitation) according to inflation. People are being taxed out of their homes in the 19th District, inflation is soaring, and our wages remain the same… I would like to vote down all tax increases starting with a zero-balance budget, vote yes on tax rebates, and demand a lower income tax (since our wages aren’t increasing sufficiently and in accordance with the increase in our property taxes and income taxes). In addition, I would like to lower the cap on increases in yearly property tax to 2.5% (as opposed to the 5%, which I believe is being consistently taken advantage of).

3. Do you support defunding the police?

No; however, maybe we should give it a try in democratic-run cities and see what becomes of their situations. I come from a blue-line family, and I appreciate and honor police.

4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not?

"Diversity Equity and Inclusion" is a way for teachers and the like to indoctrinate the next generation on the liberal agenda (being apologetic for being "white," reparations, etc.). It should absolutely should not be implemented on the city/county/federal levels because next, they will go after our children. In addition, it is a way to indoctrinate government employees into one-way of thinking "morally." I believe the only way to prevent this indoctrination is to have School Choice and Parental Rights over the morality of the child so that it is solely up to them.

5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly?

I would say let us keep adult issues to adults. Sexuality and anything like that should absolutely unequivocally, be kept away from children. No public events hosted for anyone under the age of 18 (the law when it comes to even rated R movies) can include sexual images, wording, sounds, actions, behaviors, clothing, propaganda, etc.

6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not?

Absolutely, one-hundred percent. The people who vote for public servants deserve to have a voice. Multiple heads are better than one, and I find more often than not, if I try to learn from everyone I encounter, I learn quite a bit. Eat the meat, spit out the bones. Therefore, voter ideas/opinions should heavily influence the way elected officials vote.

7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?

Unlike our present senator of the 19th district who has spent taxpayer money on building several sports complexes just to put his own name on it, I would like to invest granted funds back into things that would ultimately benefit taxpayers (meaning, it would be a long game, but it would lower their taxes in the end). I would love to spend this money on finding independent "anonymous" auditing contractors, to sniff out corruption. Corruption costs money. We need to investigate who and what is being stolen from the people, and to what degree. In this way, we can make taxpayers aware of what is going on behind closed doors, so that they have the right information to make better choices. Of course this is not a fully-formed thought/objective, but I would stretch to say it is a start.

8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town?

There is no "true"/constitutionally legal such thing as a sanctuary city/autonomous zone; albeit
outside of a George Orwell novel. This concept is completely unconstitutional, and is costing taxpayers billions of dollars across the United States. There is a right way to come to America, and it is not entering illegally. I am a minority (half Mexican), and I do not believe in allowing people to unjustifiably break the law, just so that the Democratic Party can play the long-game and sequester votes in a sneaky way. This does not mean I have no compassion for those who come from terrible circumstances... as a Christ follower, my heart aches for them; however, in principle, it is not our place politically to carry the burden of other "less than equitable" countries. In addition, with a multitude of undocumented people coming across the border, we are welcoming drug/fentanyl trafficking, human labor/sex trafficking, gang violence, and plenty of military-aged men (the federal government is allowing legion of illegal military-aged men at the same time as they are trying to take away our guns... is this party of the sinister plot of those in charge? To take Americans hostage in a police state/communist Marshall Law? According to my training by the FBI, the United States is one of the greatest hot zones in the world for the distribution of minors for the purposes of sex-trafficking... thus we are allowing a horde of undocumented children who "no-one" cares about, to enter the country and put them at risk of being sex trafficked for the very reason that they are undocumented/unknown/anonymous. How tragic.

9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations?

This is another way for a communist/Marxist government to exercise control over its people, so that they bow down to the corrupt government's rule... meaning, if we don't think/act on the government's propagandist, serpentine view of morality, then our livelihoods are at risk. This is why we need people who are running for public office to have a backbone, be willing to publicly expose lies/deceit/corruption, and take a stand for what is right. Anyone who displays weakness in these areas should have enough integrity not to run.

10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town?

The God of Jesus. Some may say the local/state/federal governments, first responder-type organizations, elected officials, personal responsibility, or the like; however, I believe we are all ultimately in the Lord's hands. I believe the aforementioned governments/organizations/people are the hands and feet of God, but He is conclusively/fundamentally in charge.

11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

I am working with several organizations to sequester endorsements (I have had several interviews, and am awaiting response). Several organizations that are backing me are the Martin Luther King Republicans and the Black Chamber of Commerce.
