KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office. | Our state has a one-seat advantage in the House and Senate. If we lose one seat Arizona is no longer under a Republican majority. It is vital to get a leader who works well with all the factions of the party to keep Arizona red. Our state chair requested I run. I have proven leadership both in and out of the party. |
2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how? | In order to ensure a Republican victory, it is crucial for us to maintain our one-seat advantage in the legislature and possibly even gain more seats. The top priority for our governor is to eliminate school choice. Moreover, our borders are currently open. Therefore, it is imperative to have the appropriate leadership in place to effectively organize the state. |
3. Do you support defunding the police? | 100% no! We must fund our police. |
4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not? | I do not believe that "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" is appropriate. It is another form of racism. We should be teaching people to achieve their full potential. What would happen to our hopes, dreams, and determination if this type of training was implemented? I am opposed to it. Hard work will lead you to success in our beloved country |
5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly? | Strive to maintain a Republican presence in our state. Let's ensure that our schools are held responsible for their actions. Show support and provide funding for school board races featuring conservative candidates. Maintain our stance firmly, by delivering messages that are not aggressive, but instead grounded in logical reasoning. Let's reintroduce religious values into the classroom by bringing God back in! |
6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not? | Yes. Often times the government decides what the residents want. We should always include those impacted before laws or systems are implemented. |
7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why? | I would clean up our streets where we have homeless camps and work to relocate those who have been displaced. Give them an opportunity to get a job so they can begin working to have a better life. |
8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town? | Sanctuary cities are breaking the law. They should not be funded from the federal government. They need to be banned. |
9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations? | As a small business owner whose business was shut down, I am opposed to it. Who has the authority to determine which businesses are essential and should remain open? I strongly disagree with such decisions. If individuals are afraid of falling ill, they should choose to stay at home. If an employee is unwilling to work, they have the freedom to make that choice. The government does not have the right to control how I earn a living. This should be left to each individual. |
10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town? | We the People! Let each man or woman decide for themselves. |
11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones? | No. I am endorsed by fellow politicians but not organizations. |
