KEY ISSUES | |
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office. | The biggest reasons why I have chosen to run for office is to protect children and parental rights. When our currently elected assemblymember voted no on SB14, a bill that would make child trafficking a violent felony, I knew I had no choice but to stand up, run against her, and fight to protect children. I want to make sure parents are informed on what’s going on in their children’s lives, I want to make sure children are not being mutilated, and I want to eradicate child trafficking. |
2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how? | Two big issues I am focusing on that are relevant to my district are parental rights and public safety. I want to create statewide parental notification policies that combat bills like AB1078, which was coauthored by my political opponent Mia Bonta. I also want to eradicate child trafficking by making it a life sentence, as well as deploying special task forces to find these children and return them home. |
3. Do you support defunding the police? | No. I have never supported defund the police. Oakland currently has a shortage of police officers and our elected officials refuse to punish violent criminals which has resulted in a massive crime wave. |
4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not? | I am against DEI. As a student at UC Berkeley I have seen how DEI is forced upon students, and it is rife with Marxist principles. We should not have DEI implemented in any institutions and should emphasize the importance of diversity of thought and merit instead. |
5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly? | I believe that we need to hire more police officers in order to reduce crime, and I would create a keep what you can carry law so that homeless people cannot leave hazardous materials and trash in our streets. I would also like to place age restrictions on who can attend drag shows so that children are not exposed to inappropriate activities. |
6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not? | Absolutely! The majority of my concerns are shared with my constituents across the political spectrum. I plan to maintain a relationship with my constituents when I am elected so that everyone feels represented. |
7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why? | I would invest it into creating a police academy so that more people will feel incentivized to join our police force. |
8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town? | I am against sanctuary cities. The reality is that allowing illegal immigration has contributed to the child trafficking crisis throughout the country and especially in California. We must be diligent in doing background checks on everyone that comes into our country and encourage people to legally immigrate in order to combat illegal activity. |
9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations? | This is something I have been against since 2020. The government does not have the right to take away someone’s livelihood over a virus. I protested the lockdowns and Covid vaccine mandates and more recently lobbied to get assemblywoman Liz Ortega to drop her HPV vaccine requirement bill. Medical freedom is another huge part of my platform. |
10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town? | I do not think our elected officials have authority over the people so much as I think our elected officials have the responsibility and privilege to ensure the safety and well-being of citizens. |
11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones? | Momarmy, Dadarmy, Vivek Ramaswamy, Lindsey Graham the Patriot Barbie, Stephen Davis, Sonja Shah, Alex Stein, Denise Aguilar, Manuk Grigoryan, Nick Molina, Adam Vena, Harrison Tinsley, Nicolette Vonchelle, Max Bonilla, Daniel Silvas. |
