KEY ISSUES
1. Provide the top 2 reason why you want to run for office.

1. I am Conservative school teacher in Liberal Fairfax County, who is not afraid to speak out against the indoctrination and harm that they are implementing on children in the schools. A lot of teachers are against this indoctrination; however, they are terrified to say anything because they fear the retaliation from the left. I know that I faced terrible forms of retaliation in the past from leftist colleagues and administrators. However, what gave me the courage to speak up, was taking legal action against Fairfax County Public Schools in 2019. It gave me the courage to speak up against school shutdowns in 2020-2021 and run for House of Delegates in 2021. Me speaking up is slowly getting some of my teacher colleagues to stand up to the left’s indoctrination that they are working to implement in the schools. I realized that if I don’t speak up, no other teacher will and eventually we will lose this great country to Communism.

2. The other reason that I am running is because I and many others want to see common sense return. The two years that the Democrats had total control of the Virginia Government, they passed laws that put criminals first and victims last, which has made it harder to for law enforcement to do their jobs. Also, they passed laws that allow boys to enter the girls’ bathrooms in the schools, which caused that girl to be raped in Loudoun County and has made many of my female students afraid to use the restroom. Finally, regulations, increased taxes, and unchecked spending are driving people to move out of Virginia. We need to rein in spending and reduce burdensome regulations that are driving families and businesses away from Virginia. I am very grateful that Governor Youngkin won in 2021 and is feeling the same way; however, we need to flip the Senate to fulfill what the voters want when we flipped all three state-wide seats and the House of Delegates in 2021.

2. Name the top 2 issues in your county, state, or federal district that you wish to address and how?

1. Improving Education: As a teacher, I am seeing firsthand how partisan politics that schools are implanting on students, are harmful because they are very divisive and they take away from a student’s important ability enhance critical skills that they need to succeed in life such as reading, writing, and mathematics. Partisan politics are being implanted in the Virginia school curriculum, which includes a lot of history that is factually inaccurate and is driving a wedge in our nation to fulfill a partisan political agenda. We need to teach both the good and bad truth about our history because it will teach students not to repeat the negative events of the past and appreciate the greatness of how this nation was founded. Finally, since one-size does not fit all, it is important that the state of Virginia includes more charter schools and vocational programs to meet the needs of a variety of learners. Also, charter schools would allow parents to pull their kids out of their assigned district school that their child feels threatened or bullied and put them in a school that will allow them to be safer.

2. Right-to-Work for State, County, Town, and Cities Employees: Under Virginia law, Counties, Towns, and Cites are allowed to have collective bargain with unions, which allows them to have a monopoly control over employees. For example, we all saw the damages that unions caused on student learning when they played a massive in the year-long school shutdowns. Also, since do not look out for the well-being, students, parents, teachers, employees. Instead, collective bargaining increases taxes and makes it much easier for unions to trap employees into paying union dues that would not increase pay for the workers but would go towards paying lawyers and bureaucrats to administer the costs of collective bargaining. Finally, the unions take the union dues that employees pay and don’t use the funds to help them when they need to representation that the unions promise them. Instead, they take about 94% of those dues and donate them to politicians that represent their partisan agenda they want schools to indoctrinate students into believing that certain races, gender, and ethnicities are privileged or oppressed, and the privileged students should be ashamed of their privilege and the oppressed should be angry with the privileged students. This ideology that the unions are pushing in schools is very divisive and dangerous among teachers, parents, and students and if a teacher or students goes against this indoctrination, they get bullied by the radical left teachers and administrators using intimidation attacks against them. Also, it wants to exclude parents from their fundamental rights that they have as parent to be involved in their child education.

3. Do you support defunding the police?

I do NOT support defunding the police. One of the basic duties a government has to its citizens is providing for their basic safety against crime. When criminals are not detained much less punished, they become emboldened and commit more crimes. Others who would normally not commit a crime, see the relaxed (if not non-existent) punishment, and likewise embolden to break the law. Our Law Enforcement professionals do not need to be restrained. Instead, they need more screening to ensure we have the highest caliber individuals with the authority we invest with them.

4. What are your thoughts on “Diversity Equity and Inclusion”? Should this be implemented as training for county/city/federal employees? Why or why not?

Diversity, equity, and inclusion need to stay out of county/city/federal employees training. In the state of Virginia, teachers that are on the summative evaluation, must teach to a standard called Performance Standard 6: Culturally Responsive Teaching and Equitable Practices. This is based on Critical Race Theory and the Eight Principles of Culturally Responsive Education. The principles include communicating higher expectations, active teaching methods, practitioners as facilitators, the inclusion of the culturally and linguistically diverse, student cultural sensitivity, reshaping the curriculum or delivery of services, student-controlled discourse, small group instruction. "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion" are very divisive concepts because they emphasize that one race should be ashamed of themselves because they have privilege and another race that they have been oppressed and should be victims. Neither is good for anyone because it only lowers motivation and progress in society. If everyone has that mindset, it will eventually destroy this nation.

5. With growing pressure to accommodate various lifestyles/identities how would you manage to keep your city/town safe and family friendly?

The most prosperous and safest towns are the ones that have politicians that work for the people and not their lobbyist and special interest groups. To do that, the first thing that needs to happen is to cut taxes such as income, corporate, and business. This will allow the economy to grow, create more jobs & small business, and it will make more people want to move to Virginia, instead move out of Virginia to states like Florida or Texas that have lower taxes. Also, we need to have excellent schools put a high-quality education and safety as the top priority. Finally, we need to back law enforcement to their jobs to keep all the citizens of city/town safe.

6. Do you think involving residents in decision making in your city/town is important? Why or not?

Absolutely! We live in a Republic, and it needs to stay that way. When elected officials forget that they work for the people, they make decisions that are very dangerous for their constituents and many other people. The reason that our founding fathers put the 2nd Amendment in the constitution, is to overthrow a tyrannical government. Our founding fathers stated that they agreed upon the 2nd Amendment in case the 1st Amendment does not work out. I love this quote from Thomas Jefferson, “What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms.” – Thomas Jefferson

7. If you received a $1 million grant to use for the city/town/county any way you wanted, what would you do with it and why?

I would want to open up Clifton Elementary School again. Clifton Elementary was closed in 2012 and it was the last rural school in Fairfax County. In 2010, the Fairfax County school board cited renovation costs, declining enrollment and poor well-water quality. However, many parents say that is not the case. The reason that school is so important is because it gave that part of Fairfax County, that small town effect and kept the Virginia General Assembly red. I think that big reason the Democrats wanted that school shut down is because their goal was to make Fairfax County completely Democrat because they every General Assembly seat in Fairfax County needs to be occupied by Democrats in order to have total power in the Virginia State Government. We saw the damage that they did in Virginia the two years that they had total power.

8. What is your opinion on sanctuary cities/autonomous zones within your city/town?

They are incredibly dangerous. When the leadership of Seattle, Washington allowed protestors to create an autonomous zone in a section of the city that was police-free in June 2020, they terrorized the residents that lived there and forced business owners that owned business in that section of the city to close because it was not safe to keep them open. Also, since the Seattle police officers did not have access to that autonomous zone, it caused the protesters that took over that zone to be violent with each other and it caused a couple of deaths to take place that could have been prevented if the Seattle Police Officers were able to do their jobs in that autonomous zone. That proves that we need to back our police officers because they keep the community safe. Knowing that you can call the police if someone breaks into your, vandalizes your property, or physically attacks you, allows us to function a lot better in our daily lives because we don’t have to worry about living in fear.

9. What are your thoughts on mandating the closure of privately owned businesses due to public health concerns aside from code violations?

I am absolutely against the Government being able to shut down privately owned business, especially when they can keep liquor stores and big corporate stores open. This is clearly not about public safety, this is about control and shutting down small businesses so big corporations have less competition.

10. Who is the ultimate authority over the health and safety of the people in your city/town?

The individual and NOT the Government. As Ronald Reagan says, “The top 9 most terrifying words in the English Language are: I'm from the government, and I'm here to help.” We saw the damages of too much Government control in the name of health and safety during the COVID-19 shutdowns and we don't want that again.

11. Are you endorsed by other organizations? If so, which ones?

Not at the moment because I just officially became the nominee.
